Welcome the king

The one whose authority is from the Ancient one on high

His is not a man made kingdom nor an ending kingdom

This king will not oppress, exploit or harass his people

He is not a tyrant like our beastly kings of the past

Those who ravaged our flesh, robbed our women and took the spirit out of their innocent subjects

Nor does he turn his eyes away from our suffering and pain

At last a king who sees us

At last a king who hears us

He is the suffering servant king who makes a path for our freedom by laying down his own life to save us

Ululating, Halala helele!

His is a kingdom where justice flows like a river from his throne

Sweeping across the nations covering every village, reaching every town

It’s a kingdom where all belong

A place where you hear every song

In any language, from any tribe, in any tongue

Ululating, Halala helele!

At his table all are welcome

The rich and the poorThe near and the far

Those not called a people

Find meaning and purpose in him

Those rejected and secluded

Become the dazzling stars displaying the beauty and glory of his everlasting kingdom

He invites us to come to His table today

Come just as you are, come one come all

Rest your soul that has been long at war

Come dine with him face to face

Come find mercy and saving grace

This wonderful mighty king, this prince our peace, now dwells amongst us!

Shanti
